In January 2005, Medtronic generously donated 414 stents (valued at $1,000 per stent) to SoH for use in the Phnom Penh Heart Center.
The stents were transported to Cambodia in March 2005 by the SoH-NY Presbyterian Hospital medical mission, led by Dr. Jonathan Chen. The mission was able to operate on 21 indigent children.
