- The Fann Dakar Cardiology Center - ( DCC )
- The SoH surgical mission to Dakar, March 9-18, 2007: a US team of 9 led by Dr. Jonathan Chen, Director, Pediatric Cardiac Surgery, NYPH will operate on 15 indigent children with the local medical staff of the Center. The mission team includes surgeon, anesthesiologists, cardiologist, perfusionist, cardio interventionist, and OR/ICU nurses. All medical supplies necessary to perform the surgery will be brought from New York to Dakar.
